MIDDLE SCHOOL INTENSIVES

Through small group instruction, we will learn songs, choreography, and theatre games each day. Open to all students in grades 6 - 8

Week 3: CHICAGO
Join us for this fun musical theatre program! Voice, acting, and audition lessons will include songs from the one of Broadway’s longest-running hits! In addition to working on your own solo selections, we will explore a medley by Teena Chinn including “And All That Jazz”; “Funny Honey”; “All I Care About”; “Razzle Dazzle”; and “I Move On”. Fun music and theatre games will make the time fly by—an exciting way to remain engaged and grow as artists from home!

Week 4: WICKED 
Join us for this fun musical theatre program!  Voice, acting, and audition lessons will include thrilling songs from WICKED!  In addition to working on your own solo selections, we will explore a medley by Stephen Schwartz and Mark Brymer.  Fun music and theatre games will make the time fly by—an exciting way to remain engaged and grow as artists from home!

Week 5:  DEAR EVAN HANSEN
This musical theatre program will feature the music from the Broadway phenomenon, DEAR EVAN HANSEN!  Voice, acting, and audition lessons will include epic songs by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul, in a medley by Mark Brymer. Fun music and theatre games will make the time fly by—an exciting way to remain engaged and grow as artists from home!

Week 6:  HAMILTON
This musical theatre program will feature the music from the TONY-award winning masterpiece, HAMILTON! Voice, acting, and audition lessons will include songs like “Alexander Hamilton”; “My Shot”; “The Schuyler Sisters”; “The Room Where It Happens”; “Helpless”; and “Yorktown (The World Turned Upside Down)” from a choral medley by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Lisa DeSpain. Fun music and theatre games will make the time fly by—an exciting way to remain engaged and grow as artists from home!

Week 7:  HAIRSPRAY - at capacity
Join us for this fun musical theatre program! Voice, acting, and audition lessons will include 60’s-style music and choreography from one of the hottest shows of the millennium, HAIRSPRAY! We will learn a medley by Mac Huff with songs including “Welcome to the '60s”; “Good Morning Baltimore”; “Mama, I'm a Big Girl Now”; “It Takes Two”; “I Know Where I've Been” and “You Can't Stop the Beat”. Fun music and theatre games will make the time fly by—an exciting way to remain engaged and grow as artists from home!

Week 8:  LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS
Join us for this fun musical theatre program! Voice, acting, and audition lessons will include rock ‘n’ roll, doo-wop, and Motown music and choreography from this amazing cult-classic musical. We will learn a medley by Andy Beck with songs including “Little Shop of Horrors”; “Skid Row”; “Da-Doo”; “Dentist!”; “Somewhere That's Green”; “Feed Me”; “Suddenly, Seymour” and “Don't Feed the Plants”. Fun music and theatre games will make the time fly by—an exciting way to remain engaged and grow as artists from home!
