–HAIR–

This past summer, The Long Island Musical Theatre Festival presented HAIR for our main stage production and offered a masterclass with Tony-winning Broadway legend and 3x Grammy nominee Melba Moore. Ms. Moore began her Broadway career in HAIR, taking over the role of Sheila from Diane Keaton — becoming the first Black woman to replace a white actress in a lead role.

–BYE BYE BIRDIE: YOUTH EDITION–

LIMTF presented BYE BYE BIRDIE: YOUTH EDITION for our 2025 intermediate production and also performed “Children Will Listen” in Raise Your Voice With Melba Moore, our 2025 Music Revue Performance.

—LIMTF’S SUMMER 2025 MUSIC REVUE AND MASTERCLASS—

For LIMTF’s Summer 2025 Festival, our students participated in a Masterclass and Music Revue Performance, Raise Your Voice With Melba Moore. Students presented solos to Ms. Moore to perfect their performances for the show later that same day. We were absolutely honored to have this legendary musical icon join us for our program this year!

–BEGINNER PROGRAM–

LIMTF celebrated a second year of our Beginner Program for young performers!
This year, these new students performed a medley of songs from the hit film and Broadway musical, “Wicked.”
