LOCATION

All rehearsals and performances will take place at Adelphi University's Performing Arts Center, 1 South Avenue, Garden City, NY, 11530. Students will pack their lunch and snack.

auditions                                    

Admission to the program is competitive and by audition only. For your video audition, record yourself performing two contrasting songs by Stephen Schwartz. Each selection must be 32-bars in length with accompaniment. We will continue to accept submissions until all spots are filled. Maximum enrollment is 30. If you wish to submit early for a $100 discount, early submissions must be in by Tuesday, March 1.

Callbacks

Details will be released to those who register and receive a call back, which will take place on Monday, June 13. Please note that double casting in our main stage production is a possibility. Students accepted into the Long Island Musical Theatre Festival will be notified via email upon receipt of submission. Please allow a week for this. If you do not hear from us at that time, please contact us.

FEES

Registration (if accepted): $1,795 / Early registration is $1,695 if received by March 1. Fees include the following:

  • All class instruction in a state of the art facility

  • Masterclass with Broadway guest artist

  • Performance with notable Broadway performer

  • Mainstage musical with full professional orchestra, costumes, professional artistic and creative team

  • LIMTF T-shirt

  • Two complimentary tickets

  • Dinner on opening night of mainstage performance

If you receive a callback, you are accepted into the festival and a non-refundable deposit of $295 will be due prior to the scheduling of your call back audition. Please note that this is to secure your spot in the festival and you will perform in both the music revue as well as the mainstage production.

The balance of the registration fee will be due by Friday, June 17. Registrations received after June 17 must be paid in full.

Cancellations after July 1 receive a refund (less deposit, above) only if another student can be placed from the waiting list. There will be NO refund for cancellations after July 8.

$100 Late Fee will be added for registrations received after July 1.
