We were so pleased to welcome Grammy Award Nominee Mykal Kilgore to LIMTF for a masterclass. Students presented solos from our 2024 music revue, A Jason Robert Brown Celebration, to perfect their performances for the show later that same day. Mykal also performed in our revue, including both the opening and closing numbers from SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD alongside our full advanced company. Mykal performed in SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD at New York City Center’s Encores! series in 2018. We were absolutely thrilled to have him join us to celebrate the beautiful musical works of Jason Robert Brown.
