On August 8th, 2023, The Long Island Musical Theatre Festival welcomed Emmy and Grammy Award winning Broadway actor, Adam Kantor, as our Master Class Instructor for LIMTF’s Summer 2023 Intensive. Students presented solos and duets from our 2023 production of RENT and worked with Adam to perfect their performances in preparation for the mainstage production later that same week.
We spent our summer 2023 season honoring the writer of RENT, Jonathan Larson, at his own alma mater, Adelphi University. Previously, Adam Kantor played the role of Mark Cohen in the final Broadway cast of RENT, and we were so privileged to have him as our 2023 masterclass instructor.
